With her art, Tanja Bürgelin-Arslan challenges our Christian culture, our faith and our society. She intends to show God’s glory and also encourage reflection and amaze the beholder. Be it delicate sculptures or large-dimensioned art in public spaces, or be it light sculptures, photography, painting, calligraphy of graphically reduced works, her virtually boundless imagination will surprise the beholder again and again, underscoring her versatility.
She won three first prices for art in public spaces and realized them. In more than 12 new bank offices she designed the glass walls.
Tanja Bürgelin-Arslan presents her water lily series in reduced black-and-white photography. Fascinated by beautiful nature with the play of light of the sun, every drop of water appears like a gemstone. The light reflections of the water – the source of life – reflect the tranquility of nature and allow the viewer to immerse himself in God’s creation and recharge his batteries.
When we rejoice in the beauty of nature, we also realize how important it is to preserve it for future generations.
