Project

My work explores the physical and mental boundaries of public spaces through architectural details, stored in our collective memory. I examine how the moving images of urban places can act as abstract contemplations of spaces. I investigate how urban landscapes are shaping our identity, lifestyle, and behavior in the historical point of time when migration, nomadism, globalization, and the mix of nations are reaching a critical point.

in the project "Dislocation" I combine architecture from countries, where I used to live for the last years. It`s Russia, Sweden , Norway and Italy
The installation looks like an architectural time-machine- its a special type of machine, which runs by itself, collecting the memory fragments. No one able to stop it.
The flow of images is overlapping, transforming and mixing the space, creating the architecture river, slow waterfalls of windows and doors, my personal important spaces.
