Since a few years Ferruccio Maierna investigates focused his research on the theme of the roots and the origins , to live well and to build a future, you need to know who you were, who you are.
For his research he decided to use as a medium , scrap material like oil and tomatoes cans which he transforms by mean of an hydraulic press and some tools that he built purposefully in order to create from this material, sculptures and metal panels . This trasformation makes it almost impossible to determine the origin of the material he used to create his works and forse the spectator to reflect on it .
