As an international young artist who studied in China, Australia, UK and U.S., Congcong likes exploring the themes of dimensions, humanity and under-regarded and under-represented aspects of everyday life in various media.
Congcong’s Year 12 charcoal drawing was nominated for the prestigious ‘ArtExpress’ Exhibition which is an annual exhibition that has 200 artworks selected out of 9,000 students work from N.S.W, Australia. Congcong was also the recipient of the NSW 2015 Clancy Art Prize. And her works were also exhibited in Xhibition 2017 and Safehous1 in London. She is currently studying Fine Art in UAL and as an exchange student studied in Parsons School of Design in 2018.
My short animations are using the absurd ways to convey a joyful tone, it can be read as dark humour or just as a simple, no-meaning and funny piece.
