Associating photographs and postproduction, Aldo Salucci’s latest work entitled “Dystopia" presents famous monuments submerged by water in a complete absence of humans. Symbolically, the flood depicted represents an alarm regarding the environmental catastrophe; the rise of the waters’ level, the destruction by the man of the beauty that he has created. A post apocalyptic vision that at the same time is soothing and let show the possibility of a renascence. For the occasion of the Roman edition of ArtRooms Fair 2019, the artist will present among others a series of Roman monuments with showstopper a visual of Colosseum made especially for the ArtRooms Fairs.
