Project

El Vigilante proposes a look towards an international panorama dictated by the vigil exercised by corporations through the access of the Web 2.0, companies such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, providing them with the constant record of our activities and actions in daily life through the media and mobile devices.

The series consists of a series of 77 digital photographs of small format 6 x 4 inch in color and black & white. The images were taken in several places of Boston (MA), Havana (Cuba), Fribourg (Switzerland), NY, Basel, Toledo and Madrid (Spain), representing on them a series of numerical codes that represent the registration number of the photograph made by the camera.

As an installation, the room will be cover by white sheets
with notes written over them, those notes will represent the coordinates of each of the places corresponding to the capture of the image, in order to recreate a story based on telepresence.
