Sandra Zemor lives in Paris, she was born in Paris where she studied in the Beaux Arts’s school with André Maigret, Rémy Aron & Abraham Pincas. She received the first price of the City of Paris in the Bibliothèque Forney for her black & white drawings and her women in ink compared to Matisse by the Gazette de Drouot. She exhibits in Réalités Nouvelles Salon, Art Paris, and in the gallery Rue de seine. She is working with Idem, in Paris Montparnasse printing lithographies.
Sandra Zemor presented important event tributes to Leonard Cohen’s in Paris rue de Seine and in Place Furstenberg since twenty years. A book Hallelujah was published in 2015 with her drawings of the poetical world of the singer and her poetical world. Her Leonard Cohen’s drawing is the cover of the DVD “Bird on a wire Leonard Cohen” film by Tony Palmer published in 2016, Blaq Out. She sings her songs and Leonard Cohen’s songs and builds video-songs. She is preparing her first album of songs.
Sandra Zemor works in Venice with Venezia Viva editions to build her books . Eight were published about her work in France and in Italy. Claude Lanzmann wrote the preface of the Lost Princess her first art book in 2008 which is now translated into english.
She shows her work in Europe, in USA, in Tel Aviv in Ermano Tedeschi gallery and in China. With her video-songs and installations she participated to the Biennale in Sicily, ( BIAS) Biennale of Sacred Art in Palerme in Selinunte Museum. She organised a group of artists for the Jerusalem Biennale participating also as an artist with her video-songs and installations in the Polonsky Building, the Van Leer Institute, in Jerusalem in 2017.

This video is filmed in July 2018 in the island of Hydra in Greece where Leonard Cohen lived and composed many of his songs . The artist is coming to this island since 25 years. She presents here a tribute to Leonard Cohen and a metaphor of his work .
The song is the cover of Hallelujah’s Leonard Cohen ’s song with Sandra Zemor’s voice recorded and arranged with harp and guitar in Minimal studio by Jean Michel Péru and Hervé Benhamou in Paris. She already built this installation in China, in Ukraine in Uman, in Nahman's house, in Sicily for the Biennale, in Venice ( in the Ghetto & Laguna) and in different symbolic places and countries. She is hanging red wool and red fabric from China on trees. It is an act for peace and unity. In many countries, in Central Europe, in Asia buddhist people hang fabric on the trees for praying, in Japan the red color is the symbolic colour for the soul.
